Your way to SixtThe Sixt branch is located on the Greenside Row on the left side at the Q-Park car park. From Edinburgh Waverly Station/ Princess Street exit (driving and walking)1. Exit the station via Waverly Steps onto Princess Street 2. Continue onto Waterloo place (A1) turning left onto Leith Street (A900). 3. At Traffic lights turn right on to Greenside Row. From Edinburgh Waverly Station Carlton Road Exit (walking directions)When you arrive at Waverly Train Station please follow the signs for 'Way Out to Calton Road' which is situated next to platforms 2 and 3. 1. Go up the steps and out of the station 2. Walk under the arch bridge and continue 0.2 miles until you reach Starbucks Coffee shop and turn right onto Greenside Row 3. Walk down the hill until you reach the entrance for Q parks car parks on the left. The branch will be directly in front of you. The journey will take you approximately 5 minutes. From Edinburgh Bus Station1. Exit Bus station via Eldon Street, walk down turning right onto York Place. 2. Continue onto York place and take a slight right on to Broughton Street (B901). 3. At the roundabout take the second exit on to Leith Street (A900). 4. At traffic lights turn left onto Greenside Row. 5. The branch is located in the Q-parks on your left hand side. Street Level entrances to car park (for pedestrians) You can access the car park via 3 street level entrances: The corner of Leith Street & Greenside Row (at the traffic lights) Inside the Omni Centre Carlton Square building entrance (opposite pedestrian crossing) Please take the lift from any of these entrances to -3. You will find the branch at the front of the car park next to the entrance/exit barriers and the Q-park office. From Queen Street1. Head East on Queen Street, 2. For drop-off at a different location, a one way fee can be charged. This fee is included in the overall price and is payable at the counter. If there is no payable at the counter fee, the one way is free.

25 to 75 Years
Young Drivers Age: 23 to 24 Years Charge 39 GBP per Day Includes 20% Tax
Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to rent a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that, if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.
Travel Restrictions
Third party insurance;
Special conditions apply to the terms of SIXT's third party insurance for anyone whose primary occupation is a Restricted Profession. The professions include, professional sports people, professional actors, musicians, TV personalities and/or Royalties. Please contact SIXT Customer Service for further details.
Cross border rentals and territorial restrictions:
Commercial vehicles, Passenger vehicles in P***, L***, X*** categories, MPV (8+ seats) and minibuses are not allowed to go overseas or abroad.
Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mini are only allowed to enter Zone 1 countries (except of above mentioned car groups.)
The vehicle selection can restrict travel to certain countries. For a description of these restrictions on admission, the countries are divided into three zones.
Zone 1: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and Vatican
Zone 2: Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia
Zone 3: All countries which are not in zone 1 or 2.
Entry into any country in zone 3 is not permitted.
The transport of the vehicle by ferry is permitted in compliance with the above-mentioned entry restrictions. Damage to the vehicle during the crossing will be covered according to the protection booked in the rental contract, except damages due to external effects like heavy seas or sinking.
In case of offence against cross border and territorial restrictions all insurances lose their validity.
Continental Breakdown Charge:
A Continental Breakdown Charge applies for all rentals outside UK (mandatory).
A surcharge of £ 57.96 to £ 124.83 per rental applies for 1-31 day rentals (dependng on the length of your rental) and £226.54 for 31+ day rentals. No charge apples to travel to Northern Ireland.
There is also a "foreign use" charge which is 60% of the total rental cost.

Congestion Charge:
There are some cities in the UK, for example London and Durham, that charge congestion fees for driving in and through them. The renter is responsible for checking the congestion terms and is liable for the payment of such fees. For rentals commencing from a branch within a Congestion Zone, the Congestion Charge will automatically be applied to the rental agreement to cover the first day of hire. You will remain liable for the payment of congestion fees for any other additional days.
In case of non or late payment, additional fees may be incurred which the renter will be liable for. An administration fee of 40.00 GBP will apply for every transaction handled by Sixt.
The congestion charge is only boobkable at the station!
It shall not be sold at the call centre!
