Will you take a deposit from my credit card if I book with premium cover or will I be asked to take out additional insurance when I collect the verhicle?

Yes, a deposit will be held against your credit card for the period of the rental and will be released when the hire car id returned without any damage. No, you don't need to buy any other Insurance.
